  • Limit your downtime even in harsh conditions. The AM50 series forklifts meet IP-X4 water-resistant standards and offer airtight, wet disc brakes, AC motors that eliminate motor brush/contact checks or replacements, weather-resistant controls and more.
A braking system for all seasons
  • An airtight, wet disc brake system assures dependable braking in most working environments. Unlike conventional drum-and-shoe braking systems, Komatsu’s wet disc brake system can go up to 10,000 hours with little more than oil changes.
High performance from Total AC
  • Achieve high performance with minimal costs with an AC system that utilizes advanced AC drive motors and an AC hydraulic motor. The Total AC system’s AC motors provide high operating efficiency, long operating life and longer run times than conventional DC-type motors.

  • When you need great performance in bad surface conditions. All-around Dual Drive means the two front wheels are driven by independent AC drive motors for power and speed comparable to that of an engine-powered truck.

  • A forklift for coolers, freezers, the outdoors, and that can be safely washed down when needed. AM50 models are designed to meet IP-X4 water-resistant standards, down to the control micro-switches, potentiometers and control signal circuits.
